ABOUTThe Slavic Students Association is Youngstown State University’s community of students interested in Slavic studies, culture, language and traditions. Together with related faculty and community supporters we are Embracing the Heart of Europe. Founded in 2012, our mission is to provide a forum to those interested in Slavic studies and topics to explore and learn. We serve as the public face for YSU students to interact with the the Slavic community groups in the Mahoning Valley. All persons are welcome to join regardless of race or cultural backgrounds.
